NetZeroAICT @ ESCVS Winter School

NetZeroAICT was presented at the Winter School of the ESCVS – European Society for Cardiovascular & Endovascular Surgery in Belgrade

The ESCVS Winter School 2025 focused on the use of AI in cardiovascular surgery, discussing legal and ethical issues, practical advices on AI in research, project proposal preparation, and clinical and surgical work. The event targeted professionals in vascular or cardiac surgery, especially residents and members of the ESCVS.

Fabien LAREYRE and Juliette RAFFORT-LAREYRE, affiliated with our project partner Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice (CHU de Nice), were at the event representing the NetZeroAICT consortium to share how AI is driving innovation in cardiovascular surgery. Juliette and Fabien conducted a workshop on “How to integrate innovation and e-health in clinical practice?”, and Fabien presented “AI in Vascular Disease: An Overview of Current Applications.”

The NetZeroAICT project aims to revolutionize medical imaging by:

  • 🩺 Lowering radiation exposure, thereby reducing associated patient risks.
  • 🌿 Addressing shortages of RCM while promoting sustainable practices in medical imaging.
  • ♻️ Minimizing the environmental impact of CT scans, paving the way for greener healthcare solutions.

NetZeroAICT is a transdisciplinary collaborative consisting of academia, healthcare, and industry partners, co-funded by the European Commission and UK Research and Innovation. We are paving the way for a more innovative, patient-centered and sustainable future in healthcare.
