NetZeroAICT M6 Consortium Meeting in Prague
Advancing Sustainable AI in Healthcare
[21-22 May 2024, Prague] – The NetZeroAICT Consortium held its M6 meeting in Prague, hosted by AMIRES, marking a key phase in our commitment to advancing sustainable AI technologies in healthcare.
Key Outcomes:
- Progress Report: We conducted an in-depth review of the first six months of the project, evaluating the legal, ethical, and sustainable design frameworks.
- Action Plans: Each Work Package (WP) leader presented detailed action plans for the next six months, ensuring our project remains on the cutting edge of innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Our website is growing into a central hub for sharing insights and fostering dialogue among healthcare professionals and AI experts. We also had the opportunity to engage in discussions with our first potential Patient Advisory Group (PAG) representative. This marks a significant step forward in our commitment to incorporating patient perspectives into our work. We are inviting applications for additional PAG members. If you are interested in shaping the future of patient care and contributing to our mission, we encourage you to apply here. The call for applications is open until June 10.
- Communication Strategy: We are enhancing our communication channels to create a robust network of stakeholders essential for the successful implementation of green AI technologies across the EU.
- Performance Monitoring: Development of tools to monitor the efficacy of our AI models is underway, promising to revolutionise patient care with environmentally conscious solutions.
The expertise and collaborative spirit of our consortium members were evident as we tackled the challenges and explored the opportunities within the sustainable AI landscape. We are thrilled to announce that our joint efforts are setting the stage for a greener and more efficient European Health System.
Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to innovate in healthcare research and patient care.
