NetZeroAICT @ VSASM 2024
[27-29 November 2024, Brighton UK]
Regent Lee, Professor at the University of Oxford and Scientific Coordinator of the NetZeroAICT project, was present alongside Fabien LAREYRE and Juliette RAFFORT-LAREYRE from Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice (CHU de Nice) at the Vascular Society Annual Scientific Meeting (VSASM).
VSASM is an annual event organized by the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland (VSGBI). Held from November 27 to 29, 2024, in Brighton, UK this meeting brought together professionals from the field of vascular surgery and medicine to share knowledge, discuss the latest research, and explore advancements in the field.
During these two intensive days, the project was presented by Regent Lee in the Scientific Session “Current Research and RCTs” organized by the College and Society for Clinical Vascular Science (CSVS). His talk, titled “Aorta as a Portal for Interdisciplinary Innovations,” focused on the latest research and advancements in vascular surgery.
What is our innovation?
The NetZeroAICT project is a Horizon Europe Research Innovation project co-funded by the European Commission and UK Research and Innovation that aims to enhance patient care by developing cutting-edge AI technology that eliminates the need for iodinated contrast media (RCM) in CT scans. This approach not only reduces radiation exposure and related complications to patients but also addresses the shortages of RCM. Additionally, by reducing the environmental impact of CT scans, the project promotes sustainable practices in medical imaging.
A big thank you to the organizers of the VSGBI ASM 2024 for providing such a platform to share our work and connect with fellow professionals.
See you in Hull in 2025!
