Shaping the Future of Climate & Health Research

Hear from our Scientific Coordinator, Regent Lee, as he shares the vision behind NetZeroAICT and how collaboration is driving the future of climate and health research.

A Powerful Gathering at the University of Oxford

Last week, at the University of Oxford, Regent joined leading voices from across research, healthcare, and policy at the Strategic Horizons in Climate × Health Research forum, hosted by the Oxford Climate Research Network.

It was an energising day filled with meaningful conversations, bringing together experts who don’t often sit at the same table, but absolutely should.

From funders and clinicians to data scientists and policymakers, the central question was clear:
How can we work together to address the growing intersection of climate and health?

Collaboration at the Core

For us at NetZeroAICT, the event reinforced a core belief: real progress happens when disciplines connect.

Whether advancing AI-driven innovations in CT imaging or exploring the broader health impacts of climate change, collaboration is essential to unlocking meaningful solutions.

Building Momentum

As Regent reflected, it was especially encouraging to see strong support from major funders and a shared commitment to accelerating progress in this space.

Moments like these highlight the importance of collective action—and the opportunity to shape a more sustainable, healthier future through partnership and innovation.
